The Goodbye Ride

Thirty of us on electric bikes, marigolds on the handlebars and our goodbye banner up front, rolling through the village like a very slow parade. We had a waterfall to get to and absolutely no interest in getting there quickly.

The second chapter of our farewell day. We swapped brooms for electric bikes, tied marigolds to the handlebars, hung up a goodbye banner and rode out of the village together toward the canyon. Polytron lent us the bikes, so the whole parade ran silent and clean.
