About
Raw ceremonial cacao from small family farms in the jungle and volcano hills of Bali. The beans dry in the sun on bamboo trays, and a women’s cooperative makes the cacao by hand, never heating it above 40°C, so it keeps a fresh, naturally sweet taste. It then rests for several days and nights with crystal bowl music playing. It comes in 250g blocks, enough for a circle of about fifteen, with a spice blend of their own. The project supports Gaia Bali Tribe, an eco village in west Bali.
